20年前、私は医学が専門でないにもかかわらず、「ここで働かせて下さい！」と慶應義塾大学医学部薬理学教室の門をたたきました。（たたかれた門もさぞビックリしたことでしょう）

学生の研究活動

学生が疑問に思った事から研究テーマを決定します。

「明らかなこと（既知）」と「明らかでないこと（未知）」の違いを区別する能力が研究者の基礎の基礎です。

さらに、「研究テーマからの仮説の設定→仮説の証明(研究計画及び実施)→研究成果を発表する能力」を身につけることが目的です。

研究活動を通じて、大学卒業後の人生を生き抜く力の修得を目指します。

山田の研究活動

病で苦しむ人々を笑顔にできるような研究成果の発信を目指しています。

特に注目している研究テーマは、急性期における全身性炎症反応がもたらす、脳機能障害のメカニズムの解明です。

具体的には、マウスなどの動物モデルの病態メカニズムを明らかにすることで、診断および治療方法の確立に取組んでいます。
